Role Overview

We are looking for an Investment Analyst to support investment analysis, financial modelling, business cases, valuation and strategic decision-making in a growing pharmaceutical company.

This role is suitable for candidates with 1-2 years of relevant experience in corporate finance, strong quantitative, financial modelling and problem-solving skills, looking to develop in investment analysis, M&A with strong modelling exposure, and strategic decision support within a regulated industrial/pharmaceutical environment.

The role will support the evaluation of investment opportunities, partnerships, new projects and strategic initiatives by helping to build financial models, estimate future cash flows, test scenarios, identify key risks and prepare materials for management decision-making.

This is not a pure reporting or financial control role. The objective is to support decisions such as whether the company should invest in a project, enter a partnership, launch a product, assess an external opportunity or allocate capital to a strategic initiative.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:

  • Support financial modelling, business cases and investment analysis.

  • Assist in valuation work, including DCF and comparable analysis.

  • Prepare scenario and sensitivity analyses.

  • Analyze financial, operational and market assumptions.

  • Support due diligence and assessment of external opportunities.

  • Identify key value drivers, risks and assumptions behind investment decisions.

  • Prepare presentations and decision-support materials for senior management.

  • Work closely with Finance, Commercial, Operations and Strategy teams.

PROFILE:

  • Degree or Master’s in Finance, Economics, Management, Accounting, Engineering or similar.

  • Candidates with a background in Mathematics, Applied Mathematics, Statistics, Data Science or other quantitative fields are also welcome, provided they have an exposure to financial modelling, valuation, investment analysis or business cases.

  • Strong analytical skills and solid Excel capability.

  • Exposure to financial modelling, valuation, corporate finance, investment analysis or transaction advisory.

  • Interest in pharma, healthcare, regulated industries or industrial business models.

  • Fluent English.

  • Curious, structured, detail-oriented and willing to learn.
